NAUSHAHRO FEROZE: Ex-MPA laid to rest

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, March 23: A former MPA and adviser to the Sindh chief minister, Syed Manzoor Hussain Shah, was laid to rest in Halani graveyard on Sunday.

He died in a hospital in Karachi on Saturday. Politicians and hundreds of other people attended his funereal.

In 2002, Manzoor Hussain, who was elected as an MPA on a PPP ticket, later defected from the party to the PPP (Patriots).

He contested 2008 general elections on an NPP ticket and was defeated by PPP candidate Syed Dr Ahmed Ali Shah.
