LAHORE, March 20: The Punjab Assembly’s inaugural session will be convened soon, says Governor Khalid Maqbool.
Talking to reporters after addressing a conference on ‘Interfaith and cultural harmony in the light of Seerat of Hazrat Muhammad (peace be upon him)’ at Alhamra Hall on Thursday, Maqbool said: “The prime minister will be elected within a few days and the provincial assembly’s inaugural session will be convened after that.”
Earlier addressing the conference, the governor said Eid-i-Milad was being celebrated with religious fervour. —APP
