KARACHI, March 12: Top seed Zuhair Raza added another feather in his cap when he picked up the juniors’ U-17 singles crown in the second Sindh ranking tennis tournament at the DHA Sunset Club on Wednesday.
A better-skilled player, he chalked up an authoritative 6-1, 6-0 victory over second seed Mustafa Zaidi in the final to earn applause from the crowd.
Mustafa, who was seeded on top in the boys’ U-15 singles, however, earned some consolation handing a 6-0, 7-5 defeat to the ailing second seed Nameer Shamsi.
