SIALKOT, March 11: PPP’s MNA-elect Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that her party leadership has successfully terminated all political conspiracies launched by some undemocratic powers in the country to split the PPP.

Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, she said the PPP would float a sincere and strong candidate for the prime minister’s slot in larger national interest. She said the time was ripe for all political parties to forge unity against dictatorship and establish real yet durable democracy and democratic norms. She said the Murree Declaration was reflecting the aspirations of the nation. — Correspondent
