LAHORE, March 9: Jamaat-i-Islami Amir Qazi Hussain Ahmad said the PPP and the PML-N were not sincere in restoring the deposed judges, and the matter had been left to the new parliament only to delay it further.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, Qazi said it was an open secret that the matters which were to be delayed had deliberately been put before the upcoming parliament through a resolution. Besides, the parliament's resolution on any subject was not binding and recommendatory in nature, he added. —Reporter
