LAHORE, March 2: The Quami Tajir Ittehad (QTI) wants all the leading political parties to prepare their programme for finding a long-term solution to energy crises in the country.
“The industry is being badly hit owing to shortage of electricity, gas and other energy resources, having multiple impact on the business,” said QTI president Irfan Iqbal Sheikh here on Sunday.
He said increase in foreign debt, hike in trade deficit and prices of petroleum products were negative indicators.
“There is a need to make collective efforts to minimise these problems and lead the country towards bright future,” he added.
The QTI president also emphasised the need for improvement in law and order to encourage investment. -—APP
