PESHAWAR, Feb 24: Milk dealers in the city are allegedly selling stale milk mixed up with chemicals in parts of the city with no check from the officials concerned, consumers have complained.

According to the consumers the milk supplied to the city dealers from Punjab once a week was stocked for many days to avoid the carriage charges on daily basis. Subsequently, it was mixed with the chemicals to make it look fresh.

The consumers said that main supply areas of this type of milk were Shuba Bazaar, Namak Mandi, 2-Gate Chowk, etc.
