LAHORE, Feb 18: Kala Masih, 60, has been the first to reach the polling station of his area to cast his vote since 1977.

“On Monday, I reached the Saint John High School, Yohanabad, at 7am because I wanted to ensure that no one else in the locality could cast vote before me,” he maintained. “It gives me immense pleasure.”

Kala is not only keen to cast his vote, but being an active member of a political party he used to bring others as well to the polling station.

He said he had been using his right to franchise since 1977, considering it a national duty.
