KARACHI, Feb 17: The Karachi Nuclear Power Plant (Kanupp) has started functioning to resume supply of 80 megawatts electricity to the KESC after a gap of more than a month.
Earlier, the Pakistan Nuclear Power Regulatory Authority had directed the Kanupp not to resume the supply until two faulty transmission lines were fully restored by the KESC.
However, a spokesman for Kanupp said, the supply was resumed with the Authority’s permission after one of the two lines was restored by the KESC.
