BAHAWALPUR, Feb 14: Chief of Army Staff Gen Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Bahawalpur Garrison on Thursday and addressed officers, JCOs, non-commissioned officers and jawans.

According to an ISPR press release issued here, the COAS also visited Corp Headquarters and attended a briefing regarding matters pertaining to operational preparedness, training and welfare of troops.

On his arrival, COAS was received by Bahawalpur Corps Commander Lt Gen Raza Muhammed Khan. — Correspondent
