LAHORE, Feb 13: The Pakistan Power Electric Power Company (Pepco) on Wednesday cut load-shedding time for textile mills from three to two hours, provided the mills make a mandatory saving of 15 per cent on their sanctioned load.

A Pepco official said that all mills would reduce their consumption by 15 per cent for 22 hours of supply otherwise the defaulting mills would not get electricity. The All Pakistan Textile Mills Association and Pepco officials would monitor the mills.

Now the textile mills would face load-shedding for two hours from 7pm to 9pm, he said.
