NAWABSHAH, Feb 10: A woman and her son were killed while three others people suffered injuries when a tractor-trolley hit a motorcycle they were riding near Nawabshah on Sunday.

Ms Nazeeran and her one-year-old son Mohammed Qasim were killed while Ms Farzana, Raheem Raza and Ali Raza Mashori received serious injuries when the tractor-trolley hit their motorcycle near Balu-Ja-Qubba at Nawabshah Daur link road.

All the injured were admitted to the Nawabshah Medical College Hospital.

POLICE ATTACKED: A policeman was injured when villagers attacked them and freed an alleged drug peddler in village Khatti on Sunday.

A-section police on a tip-off raided the village and arrested Fatohal Khaskheli wanted in some cases.

When police were returning, the villagers attacked them with clubs as result of which the policeman, Abdul Wahab, was injured whereas Fatohal Khaskheli managed to escape from the scene.
