GUJRAT, Feb 9: Three youths were shot dead over a simmering enmity at Chak Mahmood of Dinga, about 40 kilometres from here, on Friday evening.

Reports said armed men of Mian Khan group shot dead Shah Nawab, Waqas and Shawaiz, three youngsters who had allegedly kidnapped two girls of the opponent party some time ago. After recovery of the girls, a village jury summoned the two parties to mediate them but they exchanged a word and departed with grudges that turned into animosity.

The Dinga police registered a case against 14 people for killing the youngsters.
