TAXILA, Feb 4: Two police constables have been suspended for negligence after three accused escaped from the lock-up of Wah Cantonment police station on Saturday.

Police said SP Saddar circle Ahmed Hassan Chohan on Monday visited the police station and suspended constables Nawaz and Shahzad and ordered departmental inquiry against them.

A police team headed by SHO Wah Qazi Faisal Manzoor has been sent to Swabi, the native town of the accused, to trace them.
