ATLANTA, Oct 22: Erubiel Durazo hit a two-run, pinch-hit homer in the fifth inning to boost the Diamondbacks to a 3-2 victory over the Atlanta Braves Sunday and send Arizona to the World Series for the first time ever.

Arizona, playing in just their fourth season, became the fastest franchise to reach the World Series, eclipsing the five-year wait before the Florida Marlins advanced to the Fall Classic in 1997.
