DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Jan 30: Two teenage boys who had received suicide training, have decided to reform themselves and become good citizens, according to a senior police officer.
District Police Officer Akber Nasir Khan told newsmen here on Wednesday that the ‘Save the Children’ NGO had conveyed its willingness to look after the boys and bear the expenses of their education and proper upbringing.
He said the government would support them in every respect and help them in becoming good citizens.
The DPO said police would protect people’s lives and property and restore peace and harmony in the country.
Recently police have arrested a number of suspected suicide bombers in the city who are reported to have confessed to planning suicide attacks on an Ashura procession.
