KARACHI, Jan 29: The All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (Aptma) has criticised the decision of foreign shipping lines to impose $100 surcharge on all imported cargo from February 1 and has urged the government to intervene and ask foreign shipping liners to review it.

In a statement on Tuesday, Aptma said the levy would further push up production cost of the industry and render exports uncompetitive.
