ISLAMABAD, April 7: The Punjab Police College in Sihala organized a workshop in collaboration with the International Labour Organization to apprise the policemen on how to ensure sanctity of human rights in the performance of duty.

The commandant of the college, DIG Shamsul Hassan Mirza, who was the chief guest on the occasion, said the young policemen were being trained in the light of recent police reforms which, he added, would not only help improve the image of police force but also enhance the sense of security among the masses.

A number of experts delivered lectures on the importance of human rights.—APP
