30 hospital employees suspended

ABBOTTABABD, Oct 22: Chief executive Ayub Medical Complex Hospital Abbottabad Maj-Gen (retd) Pervez Akhter Butt has said that a number of improvements have been made to the hospital to provide better service to the people.

He pointed out that at least 30 employees of the hospital, which included five doctors, three paramedics, 12 nurses and 10 other employees have been suspended from the service for negligence and misconduct.

The CE said that the Cardic Unit, earlier on the second floor, has been is shifted to the ground floor.

Two tube-wells will start functioning by December which will rid the hospital of the water-shortage.

He said that the faults in the management have also been rectified and the patients are now getting better service than before. He said that the engeogrophy machine too is in order.

The CE further said that a 24-hour pharmacy shop has been opened in the hospital; patients can now buy medicines at reduced rates and save time.
