GUJRAT, Jan 15: Haji Ilyas has been elected unopposed chairman of the Pakistan Electric Fan Manufacturers Association for the second time.

Faisal Afzal and Manzoor Sarwar Rathore have been elected regional chairmen of PEFMA for Gujranwala and Gujrat, respectively. The PEFMA office-bearers, who have been elected for two years, on Monday met Gujranwala Electric Power Company Chairman Rana Ashraf and expressed their concern at the ongoing power crisis.

Separately, Sheikh Khawar Rafique was elected unopposed president of the Gujrat Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Abid Farooq and Soban Zaheer Butt were elected senior vice-president and vice-president of the chamber, respectively. — Correspondent
