LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 15: An explosive device went off in the Bachkan Ahmadzai village on Monday night, but there was no loss of life or damage to property, police said.

Officials said the device had been planted near the house of one Babrak, which exploded at midnight, creating fear among villagers. This was the second explosion in the village in a fortnight.
