Flour mills to discuss deployment

DERA GHAZI KHAN, Jan 13: Punjab Flour Mills Association Chairman has convened an emergency meeting of the body in Lahore to evolve the strategy in view of Rangers’ deployment to regulate the production and supply of flour.

The chairman, Habibur Rehman Leghari here told the press that an emergency meeting of the association would be held on Jan 14 in Lahore to evolve a joint strategy following Rangers deployment at flourmills.

According to sources, many flourmills owners, with the connivance of food department officials, police and border military police, were involved in smuggling flour out of the province, especially through Dera–Quetta road.
