LAKKI MARWAT, Jan 2: An explosion damaged a portion of the house of a villager in the Bachkan Ahmadzai area late Tuesday night. Police said that some miscreants had planted a locally made explosive device in the guestroom (Hujra) of one Shaista Khan, which went off in the night and created panic in the area.

“The explosion completely damaged the building of the guestroom situated beside the house as its roof and walls collapsed,” police told, saying that Shaista Khan had locked the guestroom before leaving for home.—Correspondent
