HYDERABAD, April 3: The Vice Chancellor, Sindh Agriculture University, Tando jam, Dr. Bashir Ahmed Chandio has urged the university teachers to promote higher education and research and use their expertise for the development of the country.
He was presiding over the 57th meeting of the board of advance studies and research here on Wednesday.
He said that the research was useless unless it was result oriented.
He added that due to lack of education the growers had failed to adopt the latest techniques and methods of agriculture which were extremely necessary for Pakistan’s economy.
The meeting granted approval to 50 teachers for doing PhD, M.Phil and M.Sc in different technologies and granted admissions to seven scholars for doing PhD.
In addition to this, the meeting also granted admission to one hundred students in M.Sc under the research programme and two hundred students were granted admissions in M.Sc.
M.Ed, B.Ed: The Controller of Examinations, Sindh Agriculture University, Tando Jam, has advised the students who had passed M.Ed and B.Ed from the university to obtain their certificates by submitting an application along with intermediate, B.A pass certificates and photo copies of migration certificates.
NAZIM: The District Nazim, Dr. Makhdoom Rafiquzzaman said that the sanctity of the graveyards must be ensured.
