Nazim wants completion of projects

MULTAN, Jan 1: The district nazim has directed the authorities concerned to complete 360 ongoing development projects worth Rs700 million till Jan 31.

Presiding over a meeting here on Tuesday, Mian Faisal Mukhtar directed the authorities to speed up work on newly launched 255 development schemes worth Rs600 million. He said the road that was being constructed from high court to Jamilabad should be extended to Pul Wasil. He said a tender regarding Hazoori Bagh’s construction would be floated and the construction of Al-Tamash Road would be approved soon.

He said work on the Kotli Nijabat Rural Health Centre would complete within a month and site for a new bus terminal in Shujaabad would be selected soon. He warned that contracts of all contractors, who would not complete their projects within stipulated periods, would be cancelled and they would be blacklisted.
