PESHAWAR, Dec 31: The directorate of health and population welfare for Fata held a three-day free medical camp in the Kamar village, Powandakhel, in the Frontier Region of Bannu where 3,490 patients were examined and 97 ECG, ultrasound and laboratory tests were conducted.
The camp was organised by the health and population welfare director for Fata, Dr Mohammad Zubair, and the project director, Mobile Hospital Programme, Dr Mujahid Bangash.
Free medicines were distributed among patients. At least 1,076 medical, 168 surgical, 651 gynaecologic, 1,048 paediatric, 126 ENT, 241 eye and 181 dental patients were examined during the camp.
Dr Bangash said that more such camps would be held in future.
