KARACHI, Dec 31: The Pakistani rupee sank to a six-year low on Monday as investors reacted to the assassination of Ms Benazir Bhutto whose death plunged the country into a violent political crisis.

The currency was bid at 61.85 per dollar at 0800 GMT, its weakest level since Oct 24, 2001, when it hit 61.90.—Reuters
