LAHORE, Dec 13: Thieves took away cash and valuables worth over Rs100,000 from a house in Herbanspura area on Thursday.

Tahir Rasheed told Dawn that some people entered his house at Salamatpura after cutting the grill and took away Rs9,000, prize bonds worth Rs28,000, five tolas of gold ornaments and other valuables. Two gunmen stopped Faisal Butt in Shahdara area and snatched Rs200,000 in cash. —Staff Reporter
