Woman killed, 4 hurt in Indian shelling

SIALKOT, March 29: A woman was killed and four other people were injured by Indian shelling on Chaprar and Charwa sector villages on Friday.

In village Gul Chander Merajkey, (Charwa) Nasir Ali (12) and Ghulam Murtaza (18) were hit be mortar shells. They were admitted to Sialkot CMH in critical condition.

In Maadipur, (Chaprar sector), three women — Ghulam Fatima (35), Shehnaz Bibi (34), and Sanam Bibi (12) — were seriously injured by Indian shelling. Later, Shehnaz Bibi died. Sources told Dawn that they were going to Fatwaal village along with their parents on a tractor-trolly when Indian security forces opened fire on them. They were admitted to Sialkot CMH in critical condition.
