KARACHI, Nov 26: The Maritime Security Agency (MSA) in a combined operation with the Pakistan Marines detained seven Indian fishing boats with 39 crew members on Sunday for fishing in Pakistani waters, an MSA release said on Monday.

It said the boats were spotted fishing about 25 nautical miles inside Pakistan’s exclusive economic zone (EEZ).

The detained boats were escorted to Karachi coast and the fishermen were given in custody of the Docks police for legal action, it added.—PPI
