Indian Sikh pilgrims reach Nankana

SHEIKHUPURA, Nov 21: At least 940 Sikh yatrees from India reached Nankana Sahib on Wednesday to participate in 536th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak commencing from Nov 23 to 25.

Reports said that foreign yatrees came by train from Lahore to Nankana Sahib. More than 7,000 Sikh yatrees from India and other countries are expected to attend the religious rites at Gurdwara Janam Asthan.

The administration has finalized all arrangements besides making tight security measures.

LOOTED: Armed bandits looted cash, ornaments and other valuables worth Rs300,000 from two houses in a nearby Bhekhi village on Wednesday.

Bhekhi police have registered cases on the complaints of Abbas Walana and Khokher.
