WASHINGTON, March 27: A 17-year-old lost his foot in a shark attack off Hawaii.

Hoku Aki was attacked on Monday while body-boarding about 120 metres off the island of Kauai. He was pulled underwater by the shark and said he grabbed the shark’s eye and the shark released him.—dpa
