MITHI, Oct 26: A girl was criminally assaulted in an agriculture field near village Patar, taluka Diplo.

According to reports, daughter of Pir Bux Lund, resident of village Patar, was criminally assaulted a week ago allegedly by two men.

According to sources, her parents went to the nearest police post to lodge a complaint but its incharge refused to register it, hence the girl was produced before the Sessions Court Mithi on Thursday.

The court referred her to Civil Hospital for medical check-up and asked produce medical certificate in court on Nov 6, the next date of hearing.—BoC
