LAHORE, Oct 22: Several Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz workers who had been arrested for staging a demonstration on Oct 12 to mark the eighth anniversary of the ouster of their party’s government in a bloodless military coup in 1999 were released on bail from Camp Jail on Monday.
They included Shahbaz Sharif Secretariat’s Naushad Hameed, Sardar Naseem, Allah Rakha, Shaujaur Rahman and Sheikh Shahid Iqbal.
Punjab PML-N President Sardar Zulfikar Ali Khan Khosa and other leaders received them at the prison’s main entrance.
