KARACHI, Oct 10: Ali Mukhtar Rizvi, one of the 12 student leaders who had led a struggle against Gen Ayub Khan’s move to increase degree course from two to three years, died of cancer on Wednesday evening at a local hospital. He was 68. His funeral prayer will be offered after Zohar prayers at Imam Bargah Shah-i-Najaf, Martin Road on Thursday.

Senior politician Mairaj Mohammad Khan and other political leaders have condoled his death.
