SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 9: At least 12 people, two among them children, were killed and 35 others injured when a bus rammed into a closed railway crossing and collided with a Lahore-bound train near Muridke on Tuesday evening.

Witnesses said, the bus, which was going from Narowal to Lahore, could not halt at the crossing because of faulty brakes.—Correspondent
