KHAIRPUR, Oct 7: A man and his son were killed and his wife and two other persons were injured in a road accident near here on Sunday.

Anwer Ali Palh with his wife and children was going to Khairpur on a motorcycle for Eid shopping. When they reached near the shrine of Long Fakir, their motorcycle collided with another one coming from opposite side.

As a result, Anwar Ali and his four-year old son Ali Raza died on the spot and his wife Munawwar Khatoon, Abdul Qayoom and another person were injured.

Those injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Khairpur from where they were referred to a Sukkur hospital.—PPI
