TOBA TEK SINGH, Oct 2: The provincial government has ordered stopping release of funds with immediate effect for all ongoing and new approved development schemes proposed by the national and provincial assembly members.

A source said on Tuesday the DCOs of all districts had received the instructions in this regard. Some of the members had, however, succeeded in getting the funds released through the local government department in back dates, they added.
