LAHORE, March 19: The Punjab government decided here on Tuesday to disburse in advance the March salaries and pension to all its serving and retired Christian employees on March 26 in view of Easter.

All departments have been asked to take necessary action accordingly, says a handout.

Meanwhile, the finance department has notified that the selection grade and moveover shall stand discontinued with effect from Dec 1, 2001, instead of Oct 22, 2001.
