PESHAWAR, Sept 28: Five people were killed and one man was injured in an armed clash between two groups in the Kaga Wala village here on Friday.

Police said the Gujran group and the Mulyan group had been at odds for the last 20 years. One person from the Mulyan group, three from the Gujran group and a passerby were killed in the exchange of fire on Friday morning. Those killed were identified as Faiz Rehman (Mulyan group), Yousaf, Mohammad Ayaz and Gul Zamir (Gujran group) and six-year-old Sumaira.

The police registered an FIR against Hikmat Khan, Mujeeb Rehman, Ateeq Rehman, and Shafiq Rehman from the Mulyan group and Mirdal, Falak Niaz and Jahanzaib from the Gujran group.
