ISLAMABAD, Sept 22: The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has amended the income tax rules 2002 to facilitate taxpayers.

The amendments were notified through notification SRO-946 released here on Saturday by amending the income tax rules 2002.

Under the notification, a new monthly statement of collection or deduction of income tax under section 165 (2) has been issued. These amendments were incorporated in the new statement.
