KARACHI, Sept 16: President General Pervez Musharraf is likely to promulgate an ordinance this month giving degree-awarding status to the Dawood College of Engineering and Technology (DCET).

A draft ordinance in this regard has already been approved by the federal cabinet.

This was stated by the DCET principal, Dr Mohammad Nasim, here on Sunday.—PPI
