LONDON, Sept 6: The euro rose against the dollar on Thursday as the European Central Bank said it was freezing eurozone borrowing costs owing to shaky world financial markets.
The single currency advanced in late European trade to $1.3700, from $1.3642 in London late on Wednesday.
The dollar rose to 115.36 yen, from 115.26 yen late on Wednesday.
The dollar weakened markedly from earlier strength, despite a relatively strong ISM non-manufacturing business index.—AFP
