3 troops hurt in rocket attack

MIRAMSHAH, Aug 29: Three soldiers suffered injuries when a rocket fired by suspected militants hit a paramilitary base near Miramshah in the North Waziristan Agency on Wednesday, officials said.

Witnesses said the militants fired three rockets and one rocket hit the Dirdoni check port.

The injured were taken to a military hospital in Bannu by a helicopter.
