LARKANA, Aug 28: A twenty-member delegation of senior citizens led by Ashok Sundardas from India arrived here on Tuesday and visited different temples and historic places of Mohenjodaro.
Most of them were residents of Sukkur and Shikarpur before the Partition and are here on a 10-day visit.
They said that it was their dream to visit Sindh that they had had left during the Partition when they were hardly three to four years old.
“We are feeling at home” they said. A member of delegation, Mr Motiram, said that Sindh still looked quite backward.
Another member, Tulsidas, said he was quite impressed by Sindhi music and expressed his fear that the Sindhi language might vanish from India after a few generations.
