ISLAMABAD, Aug 27: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on Monday banned export of flour (Atta), maida and sooji to arrest rising trend in their prices. The ban will apply only on sea route which means the export of these commodities to Afghanistan will continue.

The major importer of these products through sea route is India as there is no trade with that country through land route.
