JACOBABAD: Rally hails SC verdict

JACOBABAD, Aug 24: Pak-istan Muslim League (N) activists took out a rally here on Friday to hail the decision of the Supreme Court allowing Sharif brothers’ return.

The rally, led by vice-president PML-N Sindh Mohammad Akram Rind, started from the party office and after passing through main roads reached the press club.

Mohammad Akram Rind, Ayaz Lahoti, Ilyas Shaikh and others praised the decision of the Supreme Court.

The activists were carrying banners, placards and party flags and were raising slogans in favour of Nawaz Sharif and the Supreme Court.

Later they distributed sweets.

SCHOOLS FOUND CLOSED: The chief minister’s district monitoring team for education with the district nazim, Begum Saeeda Soomro, visited different schools of the area here on Friday.

They visited Government Girls’ Primary School Nasar Mohammad Brohi, Government Girls Primary School Diya, Government Primary School Shamboo Brohi and Gove-rnment Girls Primary School Gul Hind Brohi and found these schools closed.
