HYDERABAD, Aug 15: DCO Aftab Ahmed Khatri, during surprise visits to different schools of the city on Wednesday, directed the EDO of education department to take action against ghost teachers and replace primary supervisor of the Siroghat area for being absent from duty.

The DCO, who was accompanied by EDO Anwar Ahmed and the chairman of the district monitoring committee for finance and planning and focal person for education, visited the schools to ensure implementation of the District Education Plan in letter and spirit.

The DCO directed the headmasters of the schools not to ignore problems confronting their institutes but submit detailed reports about facilities lacking in their schools to so that the same could be provided on priority basis. He directed the headmasters to maintain discipline, cleanliness and punctuality of teachers and students.

He directed the EDO of works and services department to submit a detailed report about maintenance and repair of S. K. Rahim High School in a week.
