MIRPURKHAS, Aug 9: A man demanded of the police authorities to provide him protection from the investigation police of Kot Ghulam Mohammad which was threatening him by terming his FIR as false and taking action under section 182 against him.
Mohammad Aslam, the resident of Kot Ghulam Mohammad, told journalists here on Thursday that on the directives of district and sessions court Mirpurkhas, he had lodged an FIR with Kot Ghulam Mohammad police on July 28, against Mohammad Ali, Imran, Shakeel, Jameel and Ramzan for attempt to kill and threatening him.
He alleged that ASI Niaz Bhurgari was the inquiry officer of this case, but during the investigation the incharge investigation police Kot Ghulam Mohammad, sub-inspector Sabir Kaimkhani, was involved in the case and bribed by the men accused in the case. Mohammad Aslam claimed that he was receiving threats and these men also approaching to his house and warning him of dire consequences.
He demanded suspension of sub-inspector Sabir Kaimkhani and asked provincial police officer, RPO Hyderabad and DIG Mirpurkhas to intervene into the matter.
NARCOTICS RECOVERED: Town police arrested over a dozen people for possessing liquor in Old Numaish area on Wednesday. Narcotics were also recovered from them. Police raided the area on a tip-off.
