DERA GHAZI KHAN, Aug 8: The Consumers’ Protection Council served notices on six dealers of liquid petroleum gas (LPG) dealers on Wednesday for refilling or decanting of gas into substandard cylinders against Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority’s code.
Council’s legal assistant director Arjmand Shahbaz said that due to violation of OGRA safety codes, 712 people had died in the country. A few months ago, cylinders of substandard material exploded leaving four people injured.
